Dr. Wayne Turnquest is from the Bahama Islands and is married to the beautiful Charlene (Bishop) from South Africa. He a credential minister in the Assemblies of God and formerly served on the pastoral staff of Evangelistic Temple, a 1,400-member church in Nassau, Bahamas, where he oversaw more than 20 ministries for over 10 years.
In December 2011, Dr. Wayne and Charlene relocated to South Africa, following God’s leading. Their passion is to add value to pastors, churches, and communities through Equipping, Encouraging, and Empowering. Dr. Wayne is a certified Behavioral Consultant and Leadership Coach, and Charlene is a nurse and certified Behavioral Trainer.
Dr. Wayne serves as a director of the Institute for Leadership Development (IFLD) of the Assemblies of God Association SA, while both he and Charlene also serve as Community Chaplains, ministering across South Africa and training others to serve in this calling. They regularly host workshops for teachers, learners, and communities, and partner with Focus on the Family to strengthen families God’s way.
To further this vision, they established CTC Network SA (Southern Africa), a ministry dedicated to equipping leaders, churches, and communities with practical, Christ-centered training to impact society for the Kingdom of God.
